this is the seventh track to be released on Patreon, in October 2022

"Seeing as the month ahead is that of Samhain and Halloween, a period of the year where monsters are manifested and berated, I thought within our year at the museum (patreon), this would be the only appropriate time and place to share the last remaining demo from Lycanthropy with you, that being my original production of The Childcatcher. This version existed before I re-produced it for the album with a clearer illustration in production of the disturbing chaos of the narrative and separate voices within the lyrics, rather than merely this more instant adolescent bedroom fury that exists in this Demo. The illustration in the artwork from one of my 2001 sketchbooks next to the first draft of the lyrics sung in this Demo before the album re-write.

I was asked here in the museum a few months back if there were ever songs from my back catalogue if I wouldn't sing live anymore, the answer then was no, but I really can't see any reason or motive in my future for singing this song anymore, perhaps these wounds have long healed, turbulences tamed or simpler, gentler, I need not know the reasons why. So, if there is to be a funeral for this song, it would only be appropriate for the elegy to be its first incarnation here in 2001"
