"This is a song dating back to the age of 18, before I had my first Laptop, so here we are back to the setup of an Atari ST, a sound module and a sampler... recorded onto a digital 8 track recorder, the sound quality is indeed an extraction from a digital time capsule.. I found this version on a CD last week that i had burnt to send out to producers or record labels in the year 2000, this specific one was a spare of the one sent out to the producer Guy Sigsworth, in hopes he would use his amazing ear and hear potential in my audible chaos. My sister had sneaked me his address from the music technology shop she was working at in Soho. This sending of the c.d with a desperate 'discover me' CD, dawned on me while I was making my most recent E.P as my engineer and right hand man, Brendan Cox during this process for many many years has been Guy Sigsworth personal engineer, how proud of this future creative relationship and collaboration the 17 year old with his CD burner would be.

I believe i played this song once, perhaps during my Lycanthropy touring period at a festival.. that was broadcast somewhere.. that ended up on server.. and became a coveted bootleg, although the song was originally called "Midnight", whenever I have been requested it or told about it, it seemed to have always been renamed "Abolish Confusion" by popular decree, hence the title in parenthesis.

One other note.. apart from my voice being so young I think you can hear it pubsescently break at some points, almost sounding like an autotune / vocoder! The note being, that the original lyric was "who let the cat out.. theyve been shitting all over the house" but I obviously though if the C.D was going to dropping through peoples letter boxes without any right to do so.. at least I would be polite in my language, the cats were merely "getting all over the house" in this recording"
